Transferring a domain to us

Domains 25/10/2026

A transfer moves your domain's management and renewals to us. The website and email can keep running throughout.

  1. Turn off the transfer lock at your current registrar (if it is on).
  2. Ask them for the AuthInfo code (also called EPP or transfer code). It is usually emailed to the domain's owner.
  3. Here, choose Domains → Transfer Domain, enter the domain and the code, and pay for the order.

How long it takes

  • .pl domains (and .com.pl, .waw.pl etc.) - the transfer usually completes within a few hours of payment. The domain's expiry date does not change.
  • .com, .eu, .net and others - usually 5-7 days. Your current registrar may email you asking to confirm, which speeds things up. The period you paid for is kept, and for many endings a year is added.

The AuthInfo code always comes from your current registrar, not from us - the most common reason transfers stall.

If you are moving hosting too, move the website and email to the new server first and only then change the domain's nameservers. That avoids any downtime.
