Free SSL certificate (Let's Encrypt)

SSL certificates 25/10/2026

Every domain and subdomain on our hosting gets a free SSL certificate from Let's Encrypt. With it your site runs on https:// and browsers show the padlock.

Getting the certificate

The certificate is issued automatically once the domain points to our server (uses ns1.boost.pl and ns2.boost.pl, or has an A record with the server's address). It is also renewed automatically before it expires - nothing to remember.

Check your certificates in DirectAdmin: Account Manager → SSL/TLS Certificates.

SSL/TLS Certificates: issued certificates and names without one
  • Certificate list - issued certificates, their names and expiry dates.
  • DNS names without TLS certificate - addresses that have no certificate yet. Usually a domain that has only just started pointing to the server - its certificate arrives on the next check.
  • Automatic certificate provisioning - request issuing straight away.

If a certificate will not issue, the reason is almost always a domain that does not point to our server yet. Check the domain's nameservers and wait for the change to spread (up to 24 hours).

Need an organisation-validated certificate (OV/EV)? Open a ticket - we will help you order and install it.
